Pier on Ullswater

During the severe flooding of 2010, the pier at Pooley Bridge in the Lake District was badly damaged and needed to be replaced. East Lancashire Fabrications carried out the necessary design and manufacturing work and installed a new steel pier that will be much more resistant to future flood damage.

Mezzanine (NIS)

East Lancashire Fabrications completed the 3D design of a specialised mezzanine structure and far exceeded the client’s expectations. The project involved a complex sub-structure below the main floor level and structural calculations

Printing Press Extension (Archant Print )

East Lancashire Fabrications recently designed, manufactured and installed a major press extension for Archant Print in Norwich. This involved removing old equipment in the middle of the existing press line and installing new printing units, complete with interfacing of the existing structure, without loss of production for the client.

Printing Press Extension (Goss International)

East Lancashire Fabrications recently completed a two-tower press extension in Ireland which involved the manufacture and installation of supporting steelwork, access platforms and staircases. This project also involved the removal of existing steelwork and a platform for the interfacing of the new press units.
